It offers great half-day or full-day trips. Furthermore, the southern Mississippi climate allows for enjoyment of the river in the spring and fall where you can enjoy the sights and fragrences of the flowers and new leaves in the spring and the beautiful fall colors in Autumn.

The Okatoma Creek (sometimes called the Okatoma River) is a popular place to enjoy canoeing, picnicking, camping and other outdoor activities. The river offers lots of calm tranquil areas, is easy to paddle a canoe or kayak on and the boats can be landed past the whitewater when desired. Below each of the whitewater areas, and in several other spots along the way, there are nice beaches to stop and enjoy a refreshing swim.  Want to know more about kayaking and canoeing the Okatoma Creek?
